Creative Community Campus.

Resonate Together is a not-for-profit community led small social enterprise based in Alloa in Clackmannanshire, one of the smallest councils in Scotland. They believe a creative approach to daily living supports individuals and the community to be more resilient. They have secured a council owned site by the River Forth via a Community Asset Transfer, and for my final Part II project I designed their self build community campus in line with the Living Building Challenge certification program.

Brief

To provide the community with confidence and construction skills to build flexible use spaces both indoors and out as a means to support sustainable local businesses, charities and social enterprises, while increasing the connection to the outdoors, and returning attention to the River Forth, ultimately providing Alloa and Clackmannanshire with a strong identity to feel proud of.
